Christian Education Ministry

Christian Education (CE) Ministry exists to assistance members of Hopewell to develop a sound understanding of the Word of God, to pursue knowledge that will lead to Christ-like behavior, to reach their God-given spiritual maturity, to become true disciples of Jesus Christ, to evangelize the Gospel, and to fulfill the Great Commission.

Christian Education Ministry’s exists to:

  • Provide spiritual educational support and training to the Hopewell body.
  • Assist members in finding their place in ministry and understand that God created them for a purpose to serve within the body of Christ.
  • Advocate for a yearly CE budget and resources for spiritual educational materials.
  • Evaluate teachers and class instruction effectiveness.
  • Offer CE through a variety of setting, i.e., Youth Church, Discipleship classes, Sunday school classes, Women and Men Bible Study classes, outreach to the community through Vocation Bible School classes, and classes in Bible Institute that will lead to a formal accredited degree.
  • Provide community outreach and evangelism by providing educational opportunities such as Papa Claus, vocation Bible school classes, acknowledge Christian Fathers and Christian Mothers of the Year with awards, as well as support other Hopewell ministries in their community efforts.
