Christian Education (CE) Ministry exists to assistance members of Hopewell to develop a sound understanding of the Word of God, to pursue knowledge that will lead to Christ-like behavior, to reach their God-given spiritual maturity, to become true disciples of Jesus Christ, to evangelize the Gospel, and to fulfill the Great Commission.
The purpose of The Christian Education Ministry is to prepare effective teachers to rightly divide the Word of God through Christian education methods (2 Timothy 2:15), to offer an array of Christian theology courses for leaders and members to study to show themselves approved unto God, and to provide educational resources and materials to equip leaders and members in becoming effective witnesses for Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to with excellence first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness through the study of Biblical Scriptures (Matthew 6:33), and to live out the HMBC Covenant and Mission.
Our goal is to train leaders and help members embrace their calling as apostles, as prophets, as evangelists, as pastors, and as teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).
